Greening the Office? Start with your pens!

Making good on their announcements at the ASI show in Dallas, Shepenco continues to expand their environmentally friendly pens and pencil lines, and as a bonus they now even offer their entire catalog printed on recycled paper. For wooden items made from virgin materials Shepenco is offering items certified by the The Forest Stewardship Council.

Here is a short list of some of Shepenco’s 2009 eco-friendly pen & pencil line:

- Newsprencil is made of 75% recycled newspaper and 25% non-recycled newspaper (EQP $0.28)
- Carpenter and Round pencils are FSC Certified (EQP $0.31)
- ECO pens are 100% biodegradable material (EQP $0.81)
- 11:2,R11:3,R11:4,R11:5)&Ns=R11&id=7349278&pSRVC_Id=65″>AMAZE is 100% certified compostable biodegradable material (EQP $0.82)
- TERRA-RIFFIC Grip is 100% compostable/biodegradable starch material (EQP $0.84)
- BIOS75 is manufactured from natural plant starch and is 75% biodegradable (EQP $0.59)
- PLA and the TRI PLA are made from annually renewable plant based material and is certified compostable
- ENCORE pens and pencils are made from post consumer waste material (EQP $0.31)
