Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750

Logitech recently released its new wireless K750  Solar Keyboard, which as the name suggests is powered by integrated solar panels. Intergration of the panels is a huge plus, in that it means that there are no bulky power bricks or charging cables required.  What’s more, the keyboard can be powered by indoor light, which means it is still a viable option for office use. It can also stay charged for at least three months in total darkness, this coupled with a built in power-meter means that you will always know exactly how much power the keyboard has, and can ensure you will never run out. The K750 retails at £69.99 on the Logitech website.

Solar Powered Bluetooth Speaker Phone

Scoschse, has just released a new solar powered gadget, the solCHAT solar powered Bluetooth speaker phone. The device is designed to be used while driving your car, so you can chat with anyone you like without breaking the law. The speaker phone comes with an integrated Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery provided with a solar panel, but we don’t know whether it’s efficient or not, because the solar-powered gadgets that we had the chance to see so far weren’t successful in terms of efficiency.

In addition, if there’s no sun on the sky, then you can recharge the Bluetooth speaker phone via USB. This means your car must be equipped with USB ports. You can purchase this green gadget from Scosche, for $99.99.
