The Fora.tv office is located in San Francisco, in what used to be a pollution creation machine. The space is pretty young, but has great views of the city, albeit from a distance. The roof access is also a great amenity to have so employees can get fresh air without having to get much exercise.

Created for the Imagine RIT festival at the Rochester Institue of Technology, this video is a testimony of the power of dominoes—which apparently can turn on a photocopier—and office boredom. We like.

An exclusive interview with Pier Paolo Mucelli – Founder and CEO of eOffice on yourBusinessChannel, featuring Lyndon Gasking – Commercial Director UK, BzzAgent and Paul Cascey – Research Manager, CFE. They were asked how businesses can address the environment they work in.

I mean Microsoft started from a garage, if you remember well, and the office has become a place, where to meet, you meet your suppliers, you meet your team members of course, and you work with your team members and you create a structure and of course you meet your clients. So it is fundamental to have a design which is first of all very well located. Our location of the office is prime location, is very easily accessible, by car, by taxi, by bus, by tube, by train. Beautiful buildings, great interior design and great visibility.”

About the Designer

Mark Alexander set up his own business – Uproar Design – in 2007, as a Second Life Architect and Web 2.0 Specialist. He is currently reading a double Law degree at King’s College University London and Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne. After winning a scholarship to study at Rugby School, he went on to spend a year working on pervasive messaging technologies at IBM and was selected to join their team at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Mark’s work with virtual reality at IBM was shortlisted for the Computing Awards for Excellence 2007.

By building bridges between real and virtual worlds he seeks to encourage a new model of interaction and communication as awareness of virtual worlds and their positive impact on real world business grows.
